Stanbrook and Nicholson design, make, and install bespoke timber and aluminium windows, doors, and roof lanterns from our own factory in West Molesey, Surrey.
We began as two school friends with a shared trade. Founded by joiners, we believe the best results come from combining traditional skill with modern technology. Years on, Stanbrook and Nicholson is trusted by homeowners, architects, and developers alike.
Our Story
1990’s
Two school friends in the Surrey Hills
Ben Stanbrook and Simon Nicholson first met at the Howard of Effingham school, where a shared interest in making things sparked a friendship that would later become a business.
1998
Learning and perfecting the trade
After leaving school together, Ben and Simon went on to Guildford and Woking College, training in bench joinery and cabinetry apprenticeships that laid the foundation for everything that followed.
2004
Stanbrook and Nicholson begins
With their apprenticeships complete, Ben and Simon started the business from a small farm unit in West Horsley, working closely with the local community on bespoke staircases, windows, and doors.
2006
Investing in a new vision
As demand grew from working hands-on with clients, we invested in new tooling and introduced the brand identity that still represents Stanbrook and Nicholson today.
Our Factory
Everything happens under one roof at our West Molesey factory. CNC machining, glass production, and spray finishing are all in-house, ensuring quality stays consistent across every window and door we craft.
